Six arrested in South Bend drug investigation
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Six people were arrested in South Bend after a drug investigation late Wednesday night.
Indiana State Trooper Kyle Hudson pulled over a gold Chrysler near Kemble Avenue and Donald Street around 9:30 p.m.
The driver and passengers were arrested and taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
Ryan Hayes, 37, was the driver. Christina Bradford, 28, and David Scarberry, 39, were the passengers.
Hayes was arrested on the preliminary charges of:
- Possession of meth
- Possession of a narcotic
- Possession of a Schedule IV drug
- Possession of a Legend drug
Bradford was arrested on the preliminary charges of:
- Possession of a narcotic
- Possession of a schedule IV drug
- Possession of a Legend drug
Scarberry was arrested on the preliminary charges of:
- Dealing meth
- Dealing Heroin
- Possession of meth
- Possession of Heroin
The arrests led ISP to search a residence at the 2000 block of Morris Street in South Bend.
Troopers arrived at the home around 1 a.m. Thursday, where they arrested three more individuals.
Jeff Scarberry, 52, Aaron Rowe, 35, and Wesley Glenn, 25, were arrested and taken to St. Joseph County Jail.
Scarberry, 52, was arrested on the preliminary charges of:
- Dealing meth
- Dealing Heroin
- Possession of meth
- Possession of Heroin
- Rowe was arrested on the preliminary charges of:
- Possession of Heroin
- Possession of a Syringe
- Visiting a Common Nuisance
Glenn was arrested on the preliminary charges of:
- Possession of meth
- Visiting a Common Nuisance
Trooper Hudson was assisted by Troopers Glaze, Eagles, Price, Sgt. Johnson, and K9s Nala and Axel.
