Skeletal remains found in Auburn to be sent to Indy for examination

AUBURN, Ind. -- The autopsy on the skeletal remains found in Auburn over the weekend yielded no new clues as to the person's cause of death or identity, according to Indiana State Police.

The remains were found in Auburn Saturday afternoon in a wooded area.

An autopsy was performed in Fort Wayne on Monday, but it yielded no additional clues.

The remains will be sent to a forensic anthropologist in Indianapolis for further examination.
