Skylar Diggins named Big East Player of the Year

NOTRE DAME, Ind.-- A huge accomplishment for Notre Dame's Skylar Diggins, she is The Big East Player of the year.
The junior guard is the third Notre Dame player to ever get the honor.
Diggins will help lead The Fighting Irish in the quarterfinals.
The Lady Irish play at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Notre Dame is ranked number three in major polls and is in the top seed for The Big East Championship.
