Sledding in Howard park

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- We found a few people out sledding in South Bend on Monday.

There was not a lot of snow over at Howard Park but the cold temps kept what fell on the ground.

One family we ran into was all bundled up. They said the conditions were perfect for a few trips down the hill.

"This is just enough snow, it's nice and slippery, I guess because of how cold it is," said Jeremiah Wiggins.

Wiggins said he made sure the kids had extra hats and pants. It was a cold day to be outside with temps struggling to make it into the teens.
