Small fire at Warren Dunes State Park extinguished

Lake Township Firefighters responded to a small fire at the Warren Dunes State Park in Berrien County Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m.
According to firefighters, the fire was approximately half a mile from the road.
The fire was approximately an acre in size and firefighters were able to get it under control quickly.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
