SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Southold Dance Theater’s three-day run of Cinderella begins on Friday at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.
Performed on the Decio Mainstage by the Youth Ballet School, young, local dancers look to bring Sergei Prokofiev’s score to life.
The show is family friendly, with a total of four performances in three days. Ticket prices range from $18 to $30.
The first show on Friday begins at 7 p.m. Two shows follow on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and the closing performance starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
ABC57 Morning Crew sat down with a performer and the show’s director on Friday to learn more details about the complexities of youth ballet and performance.
