ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, December 30, 2023
The rest of tonight will stay quiet with temps holding just below freezing with mainly cloudy skies overhead. 2023 will end with snow showers as a system from the northwest moves into Michiana Sunday afternoon, dropping temps into the mid 30s for our highs. Expect light, widespread snow for the majority of Sunday with little to no accumulation. The system snow transitions to lake effect in the early overnight hours and likely will cause some slick surfaces as temps drop into the upper 20s. Giving yourself extra travel time on the road is not a bad idea, especially with the holiday. The last of the snow stops falling early Monday just after the new year starts at midnight. The rest of Monday and Tuesday will stay dry but get progressively cloudier and milder going into the first week of 2024.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 30.
Sunday: Snow showers. High 35.
Monday: Partly cloudy. High 36.
Tuesday: Overcast. High 39.
