Snowy owl sets up roost in Southwest Michigan

LAKE CITY, Mich. -- Could it be a sign of things to come?
A YouTube video shows that an owl has set up roost in the town of Lake City, Michigan, a snowy owl.
Most of the snowy owl population lives much farther north including Upper Canada and Alaska. However, owl experts say the species is very nomadic and that it heads south when it can't find food around the Arctic Circle.
ABC57 checked with the city today, and they say everyone has seen it.
