Sunny skies and warmer highs: quiet weather ahead
Happy Friday! The snow wraps up early this morning. Many roads will still be snow covered for your morning drive. Give yourself extra time to drive and also to clear off your windshield. The snow, and maybe a little bit of ice, is really caked onto cars this morning.
It’s possible later today a few lake effect flurries will fall, but no additional accumulation is expected. Otherwise, it's a mostly to partly cloudy day today.
After today, we have a nice quiet period through the weekend. Enjoy some sunshine both Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures in the mid 30s.
The warm up continues into next week, when highs in the 40s are expected most days.
Looks a much needed break from winter weather for a while. Our next best chance for precipitation is Thursday night into Friday with a mix of rain and snow.
Today: Lake effect flurries. Clouds breaking. High 28.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 19.
Saturday: Sunny. High 35.
Sunday: Mostly sunny. High 37.
