Active, wintry weather returns today with a rain/snow mix and temperatures in the upper 30's. Overnight lows near 30 will bring snow overnight. A wintry mix could return Wednesday as well, but the forecasted range of temperatures is large enough to create some uncertainty. Lower temperatures would favor snow instead. The time when we expect to see the most snowfall will be Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Winds from the west and northwest could allow for some assistance from lake effect, resulting in higher snow totals across northern Michiana. Upwards of 3 inches of snow in possible in this region Wednesday night. Snow looks to last through Friday morning before we dry out for the weekend. Temperatures will fall throughout the week with highs in the 20's starting Friday. With a large spread of forecasted temperatures, exact snow totals will be harder to pinpoint, but we will be closely monitoring forecast models as the week goes on.
Today: Rain/snow showers. High 38.
Tonight: Snow. Low 30.
Wednesday: Snow. High 38.
Thursday: Snow showers. High 33.
