A taste of summer in Michiana this week with highs near 80 and sunny skies. Leave your jacket at home, we're already off to a warm start with temperatures staying above the mid 50's throughout the morning. Many could see temperatures break 80 today for the first time this year. Make sure to avoid burning - all of Michiana is under a fire weather watch with winds gusting up to 30 mph. Clear skies remain overnight with another warm wake up tomorrow, Thursday brings more sunshine and highs near 80. Clouds start moving their way back in by the end of the week ahead of rain returning to the forecast this weekend. Thunderstorm chances also arrive Saturday. Sunday will bring showers and a large drop in temperatures, back into the mid 50's. Highs in the 60's should return next week.
Today: Sunny. High 80.
Tonight: Clear. Low 53.
Thursday: Sunny. High 80.
