Milder but wetter conditions this weekend
Some lake effect snow showers are possible today, mainly in NW Michiana. 1”-3” at the most can be expected in Berrien Co., with everyone else seeing about 1” or less. Sunday brings a nice break, with mostly sunny skies. But, our next system rolls in Sunday night into Monday morning, making for another, potentially, messy AM commute. Snow continues for most of the day, as system snow shifts to more lake effect Monday night. A widespread 3”-6” can be expected for most of the area by 7 AM Tuesday. Additional accumulations are possible as lake effect chances stay in the forecast through Wednesday.
