SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Cubs have announced what new food options have been added to the menu at Four Winds Field for this season.

"Josh and our kitchen staff do a fantastic job of keeping our menu diverse and delicious," South Bend Cubs President Joe Hart said. "A goal for us each season is to increase the variety of our ballpark food options for our fans. Thanks to Josh’s hard work, I think all guests coming to Four Winds Field this year will really enjoy what we have to offer.”

The new options include an Italian sausage sandwich with green peppers and onions, ice cream, churros, elephant ears, corn dogs and lemonade.

The newest options were a result of the feedback from fan surveys.

The Italian sausage sandwich will be available at the new Burgertopia location, behind section 105. It will have its own cart for fans walking the concourse.

To help you cool off on a hot summer day, the Sweet Spot will open near Gate A. They will offer hand dipped and novelty ice creams as well as churros and elephant ears.

At the Waveland and Sheffield concession stands, Chef Josh Farmer has added loaded tater tots and made to order corn dogs.

In May, they'll add fresh squeezed lemonade to the menu.

Like 2018, every homestand will include a featured food item.

“Each and every game, we do our best to deliver the best quality product to our fans so that it is not only tasty, but also memorable” Chef Farmer said. “I take pride in the fact that our food keeps fans coming back. It’s all about delivering a great product with a creative spin.”

The South Bend Cubs will play an exhibition game against Notre Dame on April 3 and will open the season on April 4 against the West Michigan Whitecaps.
