South Bend Cubs announce promotion schedule April 18-24

The South Bend Cubs have announced their homestand schedule for the games the week of April 18 through 24.

Highlights include the first Bark at the Park and a VIP meet-and-greet with Major League Hall of Famer Fergie Jenkins.

Monday, April 18 vs Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:05 p.m.

• Gates open at 6 p.m.
• Belly Buster Monday: All-you-can-eat hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn with the purchase of an $8 wristband. (Offer must be purchased with game ticket.)

Tuesday, April 19 vs Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:05 p.m.

• Gates open at 6 p.m.
• Two Dollar Tuesday: This week’s special: $2 Fun Zone Wristbands.
• VIP Meet-and-Greet Event: Meet former Chicago Cubs pitcher and Baseball Hall of Fame member Fergie Jenkins. (VIP ticket required, call Box Office for details and availability.)

Wednesday, April 20 vs. Bowling Green Hot Rods, 7:05 p.m.

• Gates open at 6 p.m.
• Giveaway Wednesday: South Bend Cubs Fleece Blankets will be given to the first 1,000 adults through the gates.
• Silver Slugger Night: Any adult age 60 and older can purchase a ticket for just $6.

Thursday, April 21 vs. Fort Wayne Tincaps, 7:05 p.m.

• Gates open at 6 p.m.
• Thirsty Thursday:  $2 domestic 16-ounce draft beer and regular 22-ounce fountain sodas all game long.

Friday, April 22 vs. Fort Wayne Tincaps, 7:35 p.m.

• Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
• Team Poster Giveaway: Free South Bend Cubs team poster for the first 500 fans through the gates.
• Reading Club Day: The South Bend Cubs welcome participants of our reading program to Four Winds Field with a special pre-game recognition.
• Fantastic Friday Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game.

Saturday, April 23 vs. Fort Wayne Tincaps, 7:05 p.m.

• Gates open at 5 p.m.
• Reading Club Day: The South Bend Cubs welcome participants of our reading program to Four Winds Field with a special pre-game recognition!
• Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV.
• Home Run for Life: The South Bend Cubs will honor a patient from Memorial Children's Hospital who will get to run the bases during the game.

Sunday, April 24 vs. Fort Wayne Tincaps, 2:05 p.m.

• Gates open at Noon
• Bark at the Park: Bring your furry friends to Four Winds Field and enjoy an afternoon of baseball.
• Reading Club Day: The South Bend Cubs welcome participants of our reading program to Four Winds Field with a special pre-game recognition.
• Sunday Funday, Kids Club Day: Play catch on the field before the game and meet your favorite South Bend Cubs player during the post-game autograph session.
