ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Public Library's summer reading challenge made its way to the home of the South Bend Cubs Tuesday for Story Time on the Go.
The summer reading challenge is a way to encourage kids to read over the summer so they'll be more prepared when they return to school in the fall.
"This storytime in particular is a great example of how you can connect books with things that are existing in your world, in your community. That's part of what this storytime's about is highlighting for kids what's already in their own backyard," said Theresa Horn, the Youth Services Manager.
The children in attendance got a tour of Four Winds Field.
