South Bend Cubs hosting open house October 7

The South Bend Cubs are hosting an open house on Friday, October 7 at Four Winds Field.

The event is free and open to the public.

"We had such a fun year at Four Winds Field, we didn't want the party to end," said Team President Joe Hart, in a press release. "Without the support from the community, we would not have set a new attendance record for the third straight year. This open house is just our way of inviting the fans back to say thank you for a great year."

Fans will get to enjoy some of the game day amenities of Four Winds Field like the Fun Zone, entertainment on the jumbotron, Miller Lite Tiki Hut, and the South Bend Cubs Performance Center.

Stu and Swoop will be signing autographs.

Fans can also win prizes during the open house.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Gates open at 8 p.m.
