South Bend farm hosting drive-in Halloween movie nights in October

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Every Friday in October, Reins of Life in South Bend will host a drive-in movie series at its horse stables.

The family-friendly drive-in movie series at the South Bend barn, located at 55200 Quince Road, will feature a different Halloween classic each week.

Reins of Life is a non-profit that offers therapeutic horseback riding programs for children and adults with disabilities.

Gates will open each Friday at 6:45 p.m. Ticket prices are $20 per car or $15 if you have a Reins of Life magnet. If purchasing tickets at the gate, attendees must pay in cash.

Showings will begin around 7:30 p.m.

Showing dates and titles:

  • October 2 - The Addams Family (2019)
  • October 9 - Ghostbusters (1984)
  • October 16 - Casper (1995)
  • October 23 - The House with the Clock in its Walls (2018)
  • October 30 - Scooby-Doo (2002)

A season pass that can be used for all five showings is $80.

Concessions will be available throughout the pasture parking area before and during the film and will offer individually packaged items only.

Outdoor and accessible restrooms will be available.

No smoking or alcohol will be allowed anywhere on the property.

Capacity will be limited. Tickets can be purchased online at Reins of Life’s website.
