South Bend fire crews extinguish fire at Dickinson Intermediate Fine Arts Academy

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Firefighters are working to determine the cause of the fire at Dickinson Intermediate Fine Arts Academy.
According to St. Joseph County Dispatch, crews were dispatched around 7:30 a.m. to the school on the 4000 block of West Elwood Ave.
Students were evacuated and taken to Coquillard Traditional School.
Fire officials said smoke was coming from the air conditioning unit in the school's second floor science classroom.
No injuries were reported.
