SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A South Bend firefighter, demoted for posting video of a fire on Facebook, now faces nine days of unpaid suspension.
In a board of public safety meeting on Thursday morning, the Chief made that recommendation.
He said Tony Schelski committed two major violations of the new duty manual: One, for taking the video, and the second, for posting it online.
He has five days to deny or accept the charges.
