South Bend gets its first food truck

You now have a new option if you are eating lunch in South Bend. The city's first food truck started serving food Friday.

The Grateful Green serves a variety of items including sandwiches, soups, salads, and smoothies.

The first customer was South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

He says this truck is one example of what's making South Bend great again.

"The city is coming back. The people are becoming involved again. A good town ought to have good food trucks. It's part of what I think a modern city has," said Mayor Buttigieg.
