South Bend given the title of All-America City

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Sunday, South Bend celebrated its newest title of All-America City.

Over the summer, the city won the national award because of its neighborhoods, grassroots groups, and cultural centers. Folks came out to the celebration and toasted with city leaders.

"We see great things all across South Bend and this puts us on a national stage,” said Mayor Steve Luecke.

South Bend beat out 26 other cities for the All-America award.
