SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Anointed Praise, a gospel group from the Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in South Bend, honors healthcare workers through song. They are appreciative of those that put their lives on the line to take care of coronavirus patients.
Beverly Betts, singer and manager of Anointed Praise, wanted to honor and support the healthcare industry. She said they should all get a lot more praise than they do.
Betts’ mother is in a nursing home and hasn’t been able to visit in two months, instead using FaceTime to talk to her with the help of a nurse.
Betts also said she appreciates that one of the nurses offered prayer to every resident in the facility and is grateful that everyone there is in good health.
