South Bend Heritage Foundation announces the Art and Social Justice exhibition

SOUTH BEND, Ind. –  Next month, South Bend Heritage Foundation will be hosting it’s annual Art and Social Justice juried art exhibition for the 32 year in a row.

The exhibition will be held at the Colfax Gallery on Lincolnway West in South Bend.

 It opens July 2, and works will be on display until August 13.

30 local and regional artists provided over 50 pieces for the event. These pieces will depict a variety of recent social issues such as violence, environmental abuse, and racial injustice.

A reception will be held July 16 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Colfax Gallery.

Those who are interested can visit the gallery between July 2 and August 13 to view the works.

The Colfax Gallery is open Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
