SOUTH BEND, Ind. --The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a 30-year-old woman in South Bend Sunday morning.
The Homicide Unit was called to the 4000 block of Huron Circle after family members who were conducting a welfare check notified police that they had discovered 30-year-old Ashley Starr dead inside her home.
Authorities say Starr's death appears to be a homicide and are currently interviewing witnesses and following leads.
Starr leaves behind three sons.
Anyone with information concerning the case should call Sgt. Brian Cook at the Metro Homicide Unit at 574-235-5009.
