South Bend man arrested in Marshall County for alleged vehicle theft

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind.—A South Bend man was arrested in Marshall County for allegedly driving a stolen vehicle, according to the Marshall County Police Department.

On December 16 just before 10 p.m., a sergeant with the Marshall County Police Department clocked a vehicle traveling at 106 miles per hour on U.S. 31 near 12th Road.

The sergeant initiated a traffic stop and found that the driver, Jeremiah D. Dockery, 19, of South Bend, was driving a vehicle that had been reported as stolen from St. Joseph County.

Dockery was arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail on theft and reckless driving charges.
