South Bend man booked on murder charges

SOUTH BEND — Police say they've solved a South Bend murder. Tyree Scott is in jail charged with the murder of 18-year-old Chris Simril.
Police say Simril was shot several times in Walker Park in South Bend.
Investigators believe Simril was at the park trying to buy marijuana when the drug deal turned violent.
