South Bend man sentenced for possession of child pornography

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- A South Bend man was sentenced to federal prison for possession of child pornography.

Mark Peppers, 35, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 10 years supervised release. He also must pay $26,250 restitution.

Peppers was accused of being in possession of a micro SD card with videos of a naked 4-year-old child, which included close up images of the child's genitals, the US Attorney's Office said.

As part of a plea agreement, Peppers admitted the images were child pornography.
