South Bend man sentenced to 15 years for distribution of methamphetamine

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A South Bend man was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to distribution of methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Shaquille Delaney, 32, was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

Between summer of 2021 and January 2022, law enforcement bought methamphetamine from Delaney a number of times, according to case documents.

During a search warrant of Delaney's residence, law enforcement found the following:

  • Methamphetamine
  • Cocaine
  • Fentanyl
  • Heroin
  • Marijuana
  • Synthetic marijuana
  • A .22 caliber rifle
  • Cash
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • A drug ledger

Delaney has a prior felony conviction for delivery of controlled substances, according to reports.
