South Bend man sentenced to over nine years for drug offense

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A South Bend man was sentenced to over nine years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing with intent to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.

Te’Ron Reid, 41, was sentenced to nine years and two months in prison followed by four years of supervised release.

In September 2020, Reid was on home detention for a different sentence when law enforcement did a search of his residence.

During the search, officers found over 100 grams of methamphetamine, a drug ledger, and a loaded firearm, according to case documents.
