South Bend man trapped in truck after accident

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --Tuesday, a front loader rolled over a truck, in South Bend, trapping the driver inside.

The crash happened at South Bend Organic Resources, a recycling center.

Emergency crews had to cut 66-year-old Ronald McDonald out of the truck.

ABC 57 arrived on the scene as the ambulance was taking him to the hospital.

A relative of McDonald posted on Facebook, Tuesday night,  that he is okay but suffers from a broken left shoulder, punctured lung, eight broken ribs, and a small tear on his spine.

The relative also says that he is in a lot of pain but is grateful to be alive.
