South Bend mayor holds golf outing to fundraise for next campaign

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Less than nine months after being elected into office, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is already fundraising for his next campaign.

"Thank you once again for you support for our vision of South Bend; and I hope you have a great time today. Thank you," said Buttigieg.

The mayor and his staff help a golf outing at Blackthorn Golf Course.

For $100, players got a round of golf and to play a hole with the mayor.

Among those in attendance, Former Governor Joe Kernan, council members Gavin and Fred Ferlic, and Interim Chief of Police Chuck Hurley.
