SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Self-directed and motivated Fine Art major students can now apply to join the South Bend Museum of Art’s Summer Undergraduate Residency.

Residents can also attend workshops, audit classes, participate in critiques and studio visits from guest artists, and interact with the vibrant artist community.

Additionally, residents have opportunities to work directly with members of museum staff in various roles as they volunteer hours in the exhibitions, curatorial, and education departments.

The program runs from June to August 2021 and in exchange for participation in the program, residents are required to volunteer a minimum of five to eight hours per week at the museum.

The application is due May 14th, and all applicants must reside in South Bend during the program.
