South Bend officer donates hospital bed for teen shooting victim

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A South Bend officer sought to help a teen victim of a shooting.

On Sept. 24, 2018 police say a teen sustained life-threatening injuries after she was shot several times.

The Investigative Bureau later identified suspects in the case.

In talking with the victim's family, Det. Comeau decided to donate a much needed item.

On Veteran’s Day weekend, Comeau surprised the teen and her family with a hospital bed donation.
