South Bend pet owner claims canine was stolen from home

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A South Bend dog owner says she thinks her canine pal "Ace" was stolen.

Ace is a Sheltie. Earlier this month, he was outside at his home near Locust Road and Prairie Avenue in South Bend when he just disappeared.

The gate hadn't been opened but somehow Ace vanished. Andrea Edholm is Ace's owner. She got Ace on what would've been her 22nd anniversary to her husband. Unfortunately, her husband passed away before the anniversary. He died of cancer at age 44.

Edholms wants people to know if they're scared, just to return the dog. Her main concern is trying to bring Ace home.
