SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A recent string of armed robberies in South Bend is being linked to dating apps.
Police have responded to multiple reports over several weeks of victims on the northeast side who agreed to meet someone from a dating app, but when they arrived they were robbed at gunpoint.
No injuries have been reported.
Officers are urging dating app users to meet people in a public and well-lit area.
