South Bend police holding Cops and Community event Tuesday night

ABC 57

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department will be hosting a community event on Tuesday, May 20 in efforts to engage with the public, answer questions, and address concerns.

The event will be held at the Beacon Resource Center (4210 Lincoln Way West) from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and barbecue food will be served to those in attendance.

"The event is happening at the same time as the South Bend Police Athletic League’s boxing club," an SBPD spokesperson said. "So, attendees are encouraged to stop by and check out the club."

Notre Dame Federal Credit Union is teaming up with SBPD to put on the event.
