South Bend Police investigating home invasion on S. Albert

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating a home invasion that happened Tuesday evening at a home in the 700 block of S. Albert.

A male suspect knocked on the victim's door around 9:40 p.m.

The suspect pointed a gun at the victim and pushed his way inside after the door was opened.

Police said the suspect took cash, wallets and credit cards.

The suspect is described as a black male with a small build last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, sweat pants and a gray and black stocking cap.
