South Bend Police investigating reported robbery at knife-point
SOUTH BEND, Ind.—South Bend Police are investigating a reported robbery at knife-point that took place on April 29, according to police reports.
Officers were sent to the 4000 block of W. Western Avenue on April 29 around 6:45 a.m. for reports of a possible robbery at knife-point.
According to police, officers located a victim with a non-life threatening wound at the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police then learned that the incident occurred at a location different from where the victim was found.
Officials believe the incident happened somewhere on the city’s southwest side.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Michiana Crime Stoppers or the South Bend Police Investigative Bureau.
