SOUTH BEND, Ind. — South Bend police are investigating a shooting that injured two people early Saturday morning.
Officials say it happened just after three o'clock in the 4800 block of W. Meadow Lane.
Officers responded to the area on reports of shots fired. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 21-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the lower leg. The injury is non life-threatening.
Officers also discovered a second shooting victim, a 23-year-old male that was taken to the hospital for a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The injury is also considered to be non life-threatening.
This case still remains under investigation by the SBPD Investigative Bureau.
