South Bend Police investigating shooting on N. Olive Street

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department says a shooting happened in 400 block of N. Olive Street around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday. One man was shot and found unconscious.
The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Officers were notified of the shooting via a Shot Spotter Alert.
The Investigative Bureau’s Shooting Response Team responded to the scene and has taken over the investigation which is still ongoing.
