Two killed in separate shootings on South Bend's west side

UPDATE: This is now a homicide investigation. Monday afternoon, police identified the victims as 52-year-old Zawondra Lee and 34-year-old Isiah Siggers.

Lee was killed in the 3900 block of Ardmore Trail, while Siggers was killed in the 1600 block of N. O'Brien St.

At this time, police don't believe the shootings are connected. The South Bend Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit is investigating two shootings.

One person was shot just before midnight Sunday on Ardmore Trail near Sheridan Street. A second person was shot around 12:10 a.m. early Monday morning on O'Brien Street, off Elwood Avenue.
