South Bend Police looking for suspect in 2022 homicide

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in connection with a 2022 homicide on Indiana Avenue.
Police are looking for 18-year-old Marquis Duncan, who was charged with murder on January 22, 2024, for his role in 30-year-old Domenik Briggs’s death.
Briggs was shot and killed in a home on West Indiana Avenue on October 6, 2022, police said.
Officers say Duncan should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, don’t approach but instead call 911.
