South Bend Police looking for suspect in armed robbery

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department is looking for an individual they believe was responsible for an armed robbery on March 21.
Michiana Crime Stoppers posted on their Facebook asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual who allegedly committed the crime at a Family Dollar on Western Avenue.
The suspect is described as being 5’10” to 6’1” and had a tattoo above the left eyebrow, police said.
The suspect was wearing black pants, black shoes, a grey hooded sweatshirt with black sleeves and a black hood, and a black face mask, police said.
The suspect was also armed with a handgun and should be considered armed and dangerous.
