SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Board of Public Safety re-instated a South Bend police officer cleared of sexual misconduct.
A jury found Jeffery Chester not guilty of fondeling two women in September 2011 while on duty.
Chester had been suspended without pay since those charges were filed. There is no word if Chester will return to patrol duty.
