South Bend police searching for a "smash and grab" thief

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Police are looking for a "smash and grab" thief in South Bend.
Around 3 a.m., a man drove his car through the front door at a Phillips 66 on West Sample. He hopped out of the car, grabbed a few items, and then took off.
Police say they are looking for a silver Buick Century with damage to the front end.
There was also a "smash and grab" at the Marathon on State Road 933 and Auten on Thursday morning.
