SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department is searching for an individual who allegedly hit a 91-year-old man with their car and then drove off.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Walgreens parking lot on Ireland Road.

The victim’s family said that the driver got out of their vehicle and, after seeing the elderly man, got back in their vehicle and took off.

Police are saying that the suspect drove a gold-colored Ford Taurus with a possible dent.
