South Bend Police to hold open house July 20

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The South Bend Police Department will host an open house on July 20 for those who are interested in pursuing a career as a police officer in the city.

The open house will run from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on July 20 at the South Bend Fire Department Training Center, located at 710 E. Sample Street.

The deadline to apply during the current application period is August 12.

On July 20, applicants can ask questions, receive tips and attempt certain elements of the physical agility test.
