SOUTH BEND, Ind. -South Bend could be affected by the U.S. Postal Service's money problems.

The U.S.P.S. says it plans to study the possible closure of centers, in some of Indiana's largest cities, like South Bend, Gary, and Terre Haute. Each could be consolidated into one center located in Bedford Park, Illinois.

The plan is still being studied and should be completed early next year.
