SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Realtors in the South Bend area got together to organize a food drive on Saturday that benefits struggling families during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Families received other supplies in addition to food, including diapers.
“Many people have done without a lot of things,” Carla Myers said, the Chair of Community Outreach at South Bend Realtors, “but housing and food are basic needs. And we’d like to support those things continually.”
Myers said that they planning on providing more food for families in the future.
Over 100 people visited Saturday’s food drive.
