South Bend Regional Airport to conduct weekend fire drills

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Driving near the South Bend Regional Airport this weekend? You may see a large cloud of smoke, but don't panic.
The airport plans to conduct live fire training. It'll happen on the northwest corner. The burns allow aircraft rescue firefighters to practice their skills.
These drills will take place both Saturday and Sunday morning.
